I’m a documentary Director of Photography with a passion for environmental storytelling, specialising in observational (vérité) filmmaking.

Over the past four decades, my journey along Britain's rivers has introduced me to remarkable people who have dedicated their lives to protecting and restoring our waterways. Their knowledge, commitment and quiet determination have inspired me, and shaped the way I tell stories.

Today, my focus is on documenting the people behind conservation—those whose work is often unseen, yet whose efforts are helping to secure the future of one of the world's rarest freshwater ecosystems.

My latest documentary, Custodians of the Chalk, tells the story of the keepers, scientists, engineers, farmers, volunteers and anglers who have become custodians of England's chalk rivers.

Every chalk river has its custodians. This is their story.
